Mrs. Fink's Busy Bees at Work Busy Bees Blog-updated 3-1-2010 We had a fun NEW YEAR in 2010! Just look what we did for the letter Jj and Cc .Please stay tuned for more pictures in FEBRUARY. January Fun We have BABY NEWS! Mrs. Luchner is expecting her first child sometime late July or early August. Happy New Year...2010! We celebrated with hats and horns! We made our New Year's Resolutions---things we want to learn this year --2010. We played a cute Polar Bear game. We fished for letters. We had to name the letter and say its sound---to help spell the word for Mrs. Fink. We started our IGLOO project. After many TRYs...Mrs. Fink finally used hot glue.Thanks for all the milk jugs. We had fun with letter Jj and Jack in the box. Then we got a turn to be JACK and jump out of the box. We also learned to color and write the letter Jj. Jake has fun on our class computer. Mr. Bostic shared one of his games with us. We learned a new nursery rhyme: JACK BE NIMBLE LOOK at us....We can jump OVER the candlestick too! We practiced our cutting skills with our J art. Tony learns to fold the paper so Jack jumps up. We read a cute sequence story called THE MITTEN Then we had to copy patterns on our mittens. C is for CAVE. We crawled in the cave and... found objects that began with C..like calendar and candle. We learned a new game called SPILL THE BEANS. We are using 7 beans---shake and spill. Then...we count the yellow ones..... write the correct number on our graph. C is for cookie... We had fun making and decorating our cookies. We had a fun CLOWN DAY! We also practiced our large muscle skills: TOSSING and CATCHING. Our Clown Parade was... Fun! We had Lion Tamers and clowns in a baby buggy and more.
