We read Brown Bear,Brown Bear. Then we had to go find Brown Bear....he disappeared._

| Red Bird left us a clue.

We asked Mrs. Simon our guidance counselor.. Did you see our Brown Bear?

| No,but she did let us see her pet gerbil.

Then we asked Mr. Bostic -our COMPUTER TEACHER and Emmelyne's dad.

| He said Brown Bear had just left--the clue told us to look somewhere that had lots of colors.

Mrs. Terry our ART TEACHER said keep looking.

| Mrs. Newman our OUR MUSIC TEACHER showed us her room.
| We made a long walk to SCIENCE LAB.

| Mrs.Parquette our SCIENCE TEACHER let us look around the lab. WOW!.
| Wilson is upclose with the SNAKE.

All the kids recognized Nemo in the saltwater tank.

We met Mr. Terry our PRINCIPAL. He said he had not seen our Brown Bear.

| So we asked Mrs. Thompson our LIBRIARN . She thought she saw him head to the office.

We were so excited to find our Brown Bear in the OFFICE.

| Yeah....SNACKTIME....we were tired from our trek..
| We made a puppet to help retell our day to you.

| Mrs. Fink and Mrs. Hunter were proud of the way we
worked at our seats.
| After coloring we ended the day listening to the story THE KISSING HAND.Mrs. Fink gave us a kiss and a special cookie. I look forward to our second day. |

Our bears came to visit and spend the night at STJ. Come look at the fun they had in centers. |

| Caroline A, Mae and Valentina's bears had a lovely teaparty in HOME CENTER. |

| We looked to see how our bears were DIFFERENT Then we had fun SORTING our bears by their COLORS.
| Most of us brought BROWN bears. Look at our LONG line.
|
Then we noticed our bears were different sizes. We SORTED our bears from LARGEST to SMALLEST. Caroline C had the LARGEST bear and Avery brought the SMALLEST bear. |

We have had fun playing with the LETTER B. We learned the B CHANT.. |

| ....and Benjamn Bunny who sang about Bb objects. |
| We even changed our beginning sound in our name to begin with a b sound.
